Magical Crowns and Gowns: Terms and Conditions

Please carefully review our terms and conditions before making a booking with us.

Booking and Payment:

Your booking with Magical Crowns and Gowns will only be confirmed upon receipt of a 50% deposit. Once the deposit is received, you will receive a confirmation email from us. By paying this deposit, you agree to secure your requested date and time. Without this deposit, we cannot confirm your booking.

The remaining balance for your event is due on or before the date of the party. Please note, we do not accept cash payments to maintain the magic of the day.

If the event is a shared party there will be a £3 additional fee to cover the cost of the additional gift.

Payment Methods:

We only accept bank transfers. After you complete your booking form, we will send you the bank details along with your invoice.

Pricing:

Prices are subject to change, but any price quoted in an email at the time of booking will be honored.

Parking:

Our performers require a parking space as close as possible to the party venue due to the amount of equipment we carry. Any parking fees or charges are the responsibility of the event/party organizer.

Travel:

We aim to arrive at your event 10 minutes early, but please allow a grace period of 10-15 minutes for your performer’s arrival. Delays caused by road accidents, extreme or unsafe weather, or other events beyond our control are not our responsibility. Your performer will contact you on the day of the event to provide an estimated time of arrival (ETA).

Safety and Behaviour:

Please ensure a safe environment for our performers. If, at any time, the performer feels unsafe or threatened, they will leave the event, and no refund will be issued. Threatening behaviour includes, but is not limited to, inappropriate comments, swearing, drunkenness, unsafe venues, rudeness, or general disrespect.

Secondary Entertainment:

Please inform us in advance if there will be other performers at your event, such as a magician. We are unable to attend events with other entertainers unless this has been discussed and agreed upon prior to the event. If any undisclosed performers are present without prior agreement, our performers will leave the party immediately.

Magical Crowns and Gowns is not responsible for any distractions caused by additional entertainment, such as bouncy castles, face painters, or loose balloons. To ensure the quality of our performance, we kindly request that bouncy castles be deflated during our visit.

Cancellation and Rescheduling:

If you cancel your booking after it has been confirmed and the deposit has been paid, the deposit is non-refundable. However, you may reschedule your event and apply the deposit toward a future booking, subject to availability. We will do our best to accommodate your new date, but please be aware that availability is not guaranteed.

Magical Crowns and Gowns reserves the right to cancel your party at any time and for any reason. We will provide as much notice as possible, and any payments made will be refunded within 10 days. We do not accept liability beyond the refund of payments made.

Glitter Tattoos:

Our glitter tattoos are purchased from the Temporary Tattoo Store. It is the client’s responsibility to inform Magical Crowns and Gowns in writing of any allergies or skin sensitivities. If we are not informed and a reaction occurs, Magical Crowns and Gowns will not be held liable.

Pamper Spa Parties:

The client agrees that after any Pamper Spa Party the ‘Bath Robes’ & ‘Headbands’ will be returned to Magical Crowns & Gowns.

Photos and Videos:

Photos and videos may be taken during the event and used on social media for marketing purposes. We will always obtain consent from the parent or party planner. Any child for whom we do not have consent will be blurred in the images.

Equipment and Damages:

The client is fully responsible for any damage to our equipment or costumes. You will be liable for the full replacement cost of any damaged items, including costumes, speakers, microphones, and props.

Characters:

Magical Crowns and Gowns is not affiliated with any company, brand, or licensed character, nor do we claim to be. Our characters' costumes and wigs are regularly updated, so please note that the performer at your event may differ slightly from the photographs on our website.

Joint Parties:

If your event includes more than one birthday child, an additional £5 charge will be added to your total to cover the cost of an extra gift. This will be itemized on your invoice.

Party Assistant:

A party assistant may accompany the performer to your event. The assistant will be easily identifiable by their Magical Crowns and Gowns branded t-shirt.

Personal Data:

By booking with Magical Crowns and Gowns, you agree to provide your name, your child's name, the age of the birthday child, your email address, phone number, and the event address. By supplying this information, you consent to Magical Crowns and Gowns storing this data.
